Tonight Mark was reading the girls "Pinkalicious", a great story about a girl who eats too many pink cupcakes and wakes up pink all over. There is a part that says, "My friend Alison couldn't even see me because I blended in with the pink peonies."
Mark got to the "...blended in with the pink..."
He fumbled with the word peonies, trying ...ponies?...perionese?...peries?...pieries?"
Finally Addison said, "it's flowers Daddy"
This blog began with little stories about my kids and the funny and interesting things they say. But since I started it, life has taken me on some unexpected paths with my entire family. It's now about us.
The Family
“The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together.”

hahahaha, when kids trump the parents, always a laugher. Your sister was right, your blog is a gem. I wish every year that I had had kids. 7 nieces and nephews, but not the same.
